The hull lines, a product of Rolf Vrolijk (designer of “Alinghi” the victor of the last America’s Cup) are of the latest IMS/IRC generation. The sail plan is based on a large mainsail and small overlapping genoa in order to reduce the number of required crew. The ergonomic placement of deck hardware is geared towards both cruising and racing. The recessed traveler on the cockpit floor and the dual helm positions allows for easy access to the opening transom – ideal for Med style stern to mooring. In racing mode, the fine-tune end boom sheeting makes finite trimming of the main a simple process. The control lines running under the low profile coachroof and the recessed dodger define a clean and unobstructed deck without clutter and subsequent danger for the crew.
The Grand Soleil 50’, in synthesis represents: performance, livability, seaworthiness and comfort.

All this in one yacht - the fruit of 30 years of production for Cantieri del Pardo always with the objective to study, explore and test under extreme conditions, construction, materials, techniques and sail plans transferring these to your Grand Soleil in order to simplify and ensure safe voyaging.

“Lucinda Daisy II” was built for an experienced yachtsman who had previously owned a smaller Grand Soleil. The yacht has a very high specification and is well equipped for Mediterranean cruising. She was delivered in Viareggio and has been based in south France and used only for local cruising in west Med.

The following consists of a list of extras fitted and supplied in addition to the standard build specification at the time of delivery.
