This is a very strong , solid , and well constructed boat. It was built for strength and durability.
Boat is #415 built by: Norman C. Hutt
Boat Specs:
New: Stored inside building.
28 feet long 9 feet 8 inches wide
Aft deck 4 feet, Top of stern post being center support
Extremely strong construction being Wooden and Fiberglass.
American Oak keel,timbers, ribbons.
White cedar planking.
Silicon Bronze fastening.
Boat was fully caulked with cotton caulking and all seams epoxy filled.
Sanded and then minimum of 7 layers of fiberglass over complete
exterior.
( Boat was used to then make plug for fiberglass boats of this design.)
Deck and cuddy cabin also fiberglassed but left rougher for non slip
surface.
Fully enclosed lockable cabin area.
Epoxy 2 part painted blue, bottom red gel coat.
Slightly used Ford Senator Industrial Marine conversion Gas engine.
(Seven main bearings, 300 cu inch Gross B.H.P. 150 @2800 R.P.M.)
