'Wendameen' has been in the charter trade in Maine under the present owner since 1990 and has just passed her Coast Guard charter certification once again with flying colors (06/03/04). The current owner purchased the vessel in the early '80's in a dreadful state of disrepair, but with much persistence and a LOT of hard work, has managed to bring 'Wendameen' back from the brink of destruction to the outstanding condition she is in now. I have personally inspected the ship (06/02/04), and have taken a large number of photographs to document her solid construction and splendid state of repair while the yacht was hauled out for her Spring maintenance.
