  1981 29 Feet Crosby Hawk

Description

This is a great example of a classic Downeaster in it's greatest tradition. She is powered by twin Cummins 6BT 5.9M diesels which will cruise her at over 20 knots. She is a real head turner. DRUMMER has fresh varnish and is ready to go. Whether it’s hunting for Yellow Fin off Montauk, serving as a mark boat for a sailboat regatta, taking a crowd to a waterfront restaurant, or a weekend cruise for two, she handles it all in stride and has been a pride and joy to her current [2nd] owners of 12 years. The forward cabin is trimmed in satin-varnished teak with V-berths, enclosed head, and galley with hot and cold pressure water and a huge icebox. The cockpit is what sets this 29 footer apart from the others. The raised bridge deck is enclosed with an aluminum half tower, laced top and four-sided enclosure. The lower aft cockpit is trimmed with gloss varnished teak, and natural teak cover boards. The Pompanette fighting chair post, converts to a table. [tabletop is not included in sale] With no engine boxes the 8’6”x15’4” cockpit is unique. September, 2004 survey available showing value of boat at $96,000, and a new replacement boat at $300,000. Just reduced.
