1981 39 Feet Joel White Gaff Rig Ketch 1981/1991

Built by the Brooklin Boat Yard in 1981, Alisande is a beautiful gaff rigged wooden ketch, with a rounded bow, round bilge full keel and transom stern. Her hull is constructed of carvel planked cedar over steam bent oak frames. The decks are marine plywood with a Dynel overlay. She has a long trunk cabin with aft cockpit. Alisande spars are constructed of glued sitka spruce, the main mast is stepped through the deck and sits on the horn timber. The mizzenmast is stepped through the cockpit and lands on a mast step on top of the horn timber. The chain plates pass through the deck and are bolted through the hull. Auxiliary power is provided by a four cylinder diesel.
