| Description |
A stylish little gaff cutter from the UK, the Cornish Crabbers Crabber 24 has been turning heads in Europe and the US for at least 16 years, and while it is a boat of classic appearance, yet it is also of very modern construction, and fitted with all modern components and gear. A solid sea-boat, the Crabber 24 is a very capable cruiser for either coastal, or blue-water sailing, and they have been known to make surprisingly long voyages. These boats go to windward far better than you might expect a gaffer to do, which is product of careful hull and advanced gaff rig sail design. 'Loon'is a good example of the Crabber 24, and has been well cared for by its sole owner and by the staff of the private boatyard on Naushon Island. Now out of the water and tucked up for the Winter, special arrangements are necessary should you wish to view 'Loon,' as the island itself is private.
