ON ORDER The NEW 47’ SYMBOL Mk II (NOW with a 15'-10" beam) Raised Pilothouse Fast Cruiser was developed for navigators wanting the advantages of a pilothouse with the ability to occasionally travel at higher speeds. The additional speed allows more distance to be covered during daylight hours and avoid bad weather. Built to ABS standards, the semi-displacement hull will accommodate single or twin diesels, providing the owner with a choice in performance (20 kts) and range. A cruiser can go slow but a slow trawler can never go fast, fuel burn is the same at slower speeds
This passagemaker, with a timeless traditional profile, is built with quality materials to reduce exterior maintenance. The custom wood interior provides the luxury of satin finished teak wood with the excellent joinery that SYMBOL is known for. Covered cockpit, forward deck and fly bridge are designed to afford more outdoor space for a BBQ, entertaining or just relaxing. Plug in your hand held autopilot control to operate the boat from the flybridge or forward deck settee.
Easy cockpit entrance in to the engine room keeps the interior cleaner. The semi wide-body design projects a salon of a much larger yacht. With wide double doors the cockpit becomes an extension of the salon, large windows provide maximum light and ventilation. The galley opens to the salon with a spacious "U" shaped design , spacious storage cabinets and space for full size appliances. Forward is the owner's stateroom with an island queen size berth, head with separate shower. Port is the VIP stateroom with a double berth, hanging locker, drawers and storage lockers. Across to STBD is the day head with separate shower. Staterooms and heads have more than ample storage.
Because the raised pilothouse is the center of activity while under way, we have incorporated several design features: P & S Dutch doors, easy access interior stairs to flybridge, raised "L" shaped settee/berth with storage below, teak table, space for comfortable helm seats, drawer/cabinet storage, large navigation area, large low profile electronic console, overhead console, reversed pilothouse windshield to reduce glare and large windows.
