1979 28 Feet Lancer

The Lancer 28-T is sloop rigged with spade rudder and shoal draft keel, well balanced, stiff and sea kindly. Her interior has a double berth forward, settee and dinette in the main cabin, and two quarter berths aft with teak throughout. The very affordable "ROCINANTE" is a very clean boat, powered by an alsmost new 4-stroke 9.9 hp Nissan outboard, push button start and cockpit controls. She comes with a tabernacle system for sailing under the bridge into the Santa Cruz Upper Harbor, or she can be dry docked in the nearby storage area. A custom 2-axle trailer (1985) with electric brakes and telescopic extension is included. Several improvements were made within the last year (see addtional information in full specs). Hauled, bottom sanded and painted plus hull waxed April 2007.
