The foredeck contains a round bench integral to the superstructure and a 12V electric anchor windlass. The aft deck features a fully functioning tutonic towing bit that is structurally welded to the decks and hull below. |
| Engine Room |
| The engine room is located underneath the aft deck. The TWIN Yanmar diesels are located forward in the compartment. Aft from the gear box to the stern tub are the 1 1/4" SS propeller shafts which pass through the hull using new dripless shaft seals. The hot water heater is located between the main engines. There is an access hatch over each engine and another large hatch aft of the engines. The new genny is located underneath this hatch. Air conditioning compressors flank the genny. |
| Bottom |
The hull type is raked mono - V configuration - Both hull and superstructure are fabricated of steel. The loose ballast has been removed and, equal to her weight, the hull has been doubled. The keel inside has been coated with rust proofing and has been filled with an epoxy filler.
The vessel has been coated in Awlgrip 545 grey expect for the topsides. The bottom has been coated with coal tar epoxy and bottom coated.
