It is quite a tall order to ask for a fast cruiser/racer which will delight the speed fiend whilst satisfying the needs of cruising with family and friends. I believe the Sigma 400 has managed to pull it off quite convincingly. She has had a considerable amount of money spent on her in the last 2 years and she is functionally right on the button. That said, she is a 1993 boat so don't expect perfection cosmetically. Any slight imperfections will be overlooked as you race past everyone else on the water with minimal effort.
