Fully restored in 2002 with constant updates since, this 1970 32' Prowler Sportfish has been refit from the keel up and is rigged for offshore action. Repowered with twin 250 HP Yanmar's currently showing 1900 hours turning four blade Nibral props with 1 1/2" stainless shafts and dripless seals. Spare props are available. This combo provides cruising speeds of 24 mph while burning 15-20 GPH, with a top end approaching 30mph. Reverso oil change system and the engines were last serviced June 2009. The owner changes the oil and filters every 100 hours. Essentially every nut and bolt on this classic hardtop sportfishing machine has been replaced and the owner keeps her in top operating and cosmetic condition. During the refit the boat was flipped to have the bottom peeled and re-glassed with five new laminates using vinylester resins, two coats of 2000 epoxy, and four coats of 2001 epoxy. The boat was last hauled and bottom painted in July 2009 with Micron marine paint and is ready to go.Full electronics suite including 2006 Furuno 75 mile open array radar, 2002 Simrad autopilot, three GPS units (Furuno, Lorance LCX 111 and LCX25), and three VHF radio's (Icon, Standard Eclipse & Westmarine 650), 2005 installed remote control to rear station. Lower electronics are interfaced, the tower has Lowrance bottom GPS, VHF radio, controls and keys. Full tower added in 2002 with new eisenglas enclosure. Four tackle stations, live-well, downriggers and out outriggers. Four rocket launchers, twenty-one rod holders, spreader lights, and underwater lighting.
