The Magnum 53 set the standards for mega express yachts with a blend of sleek styling, exciting performance, and lavish accommodations. Fifty-three foot sport yachts are designed to utilize their size to match their comfort with their performance. This 53 Sport features a two stateroom interior and spacious cockpit. The white deck, blue hull, and red accents insure you'll not blend in with surrounding vessels.
On deck we have a large cockpit with port side helm and double wide helm seat. A full complement of electronics include Furuno radar, Northstar GPS, Datamarine depth finder, Benmar auto pilot, B&G Racing instruments, compass, and Icom VHF radio. There's guest seating with dining table, bench, and folding chairs under the bimini. The cockpit includes a dry bar with refrigerator, ice maker, and counter top that functions as a serving table. An additional lounge, giant sun pad with concealed storage, bench, and swim platform provide sun drenched accommodations aft. The bimini top can be fully opened or closed, whichever you prefer, and there's a full Eisenglass enclosure when needed. If your interest is fishing the sun pad removes to expose a fighting chair mount. The transom has stainless steel rod holders mounted on both sides.
Below we have an open salon with dark blue carpeting and mirrored bulkhead. An L-shaped settee with cocktail table provide a spot to relax or entertain. There's a full galley with two refrigerators, four-burner stove, microwave oven, and solid surface counter with stainless steel sink. There are two staterooms for overnight accommodations. The forward master stateroom has queen berth and private head with separate shower stall. The guest stateroom is port side with double berth and private head with shower. Interior electronics includes two televisions, an Apex DVD/MP3 player, a Sony digital satellite receiver, and a Sony AM/FM/CD stereo. Cabin comfort is maintained by three-zone AC.
GYPSY is powered by twin Detroit Diesel engines with 710 horsepower each and only 200 hours since rebuild. Arenson surface drives convert all that power into performance with a cruising speed of 30 mph. Engine compartment features a large storage area for gear and supplies.
