| Description |
The PDQ 32 Powercat is a very strong-selling catamaran trawler; this one has a two-foot extension added, which makes her a true 34. She doesn't look like your traditional trawler but she has all the trawler qualities. If you are looking for a vessel with room, economy of operation, and the ability to handle rough-water, this is your trawler.
It all begins at the top with a large open flybridge with T-top. There's a forward helm with twin custom Stidd helm chairs. Aft of the helm is room spread out and relax. There are two fold deck chairs with room for more. There's a refrigerator/freezer to keep you and your guests refreshed. The room continues below wide decks all around. Lots of room to relax and enjoy the sun and sea air. The aft deck features bench seating at the stern and swim platforms with molded staircases to each side, and aft deck shower for after-swim. The widest sidedecks this side of the Queen Mary lead forward. Entertaining, sun bathing, or swimming, there is room to spread out and enjoy your time on the water. Davits at the stern hold a dinghy with Nissan 3.5-hp outboard motor.
A centerline doorway leads into the aft salon with wraparound settee to port and the lower helm station to starboard. The interior features the wood paneling and trim that you would expect on any trawler. The main salon is forward with huge horseshoe settee with wood table in the center. The galley is to the port side and features: Princess two-burner stove, NovaKool refrigerator, Kenmore microwave oven, and stainless steel double sink. To starboard is the navigation station and the head compartment forward with mirrored vanity, shower, and electric toilet. A six-gallon water heater provides hot showers. There are two double-berth staterooms aft, one to each side. Plenty of room with first class accommodations. Entertainment is provided by a television and Jensen stereo with speakers throughout the boat. Cabin comfort is provided two, Mermaid reverse cycle heat, and air conditioning units.
Dawn is powered by twin Yanmar 75-hp diesel engines that let her cruise at 3.5-mpg at 8-knots, with a top speed of 13-knots. Electronics include: Raymarine plotter, Raymarine radar, Raymarine auto pilot, Raymarine tri-data display, Garmin GPS/plotter, Garmin Sirius Receiver, and Standard Horizon VHF radio. If you are looking for a well equipped vessel with room, stability, and economy this PDQ 32 Powercat is a must see. Call now to schedule a showing.
