 This 62’ Custom Semi-Submersible, Nautilus VIII, built in 1994 in Rancho Cordova, California is a 49 passenger and 3 crew semi-submersible. The Nautilus VIII ocean craft allows its’ passengers to sit below the surface of the ocean in air conditioned comfort as it strolls along the water. It is undoubtedly entertaining and educational as you can view a wide range of sea-life in their natural habitat through large panoramic anti-fogged windows. The Entertainment Systems allow the crew to detail the underwater displays that the passengers are viewing from the 35 newly upholstered seats. She is powered by 115 HP Cummins twin diesels and a 12.5 KW Onan generator.
