(LOCATION: Punta Gorda FL) This 51' Privilege Catamaran flies a foreign flag, is operating on a US cruising permit, and cannot be offered for sale to US residents while in US waters. Slipstream has space, stability, and comfortable accommodations. Whether you are planning a weekend getaway, or a cruise to the islands this roomy catamaran is ready to accommodate. She features large cockpit and five-stateroom interior that easily handles charters or large families.
The interior is warm and inviting with high-gloss cherry trim and a laminate teak & holly sole. The salon features two large dinettes with teak tables. The well-equipped navigation station has chart table, computer with 17" display, HP printer, auto pilot, Raytheon tri-data, Garmin GPS, Furuno SSB, Icom radio/telephone, Shipmate VHF radio, Standard hand-held VHF radio, and Oregon Scientific weather station. The galley is equipped with high-gloss cherry cabinets, formica counter top, Princess three-burner range with oven, two refrigerators, freezer, microwave oven, and double sink with pressurized fresh water. There's ample galley storage as well as storage in general. The entertainment center has flat screen television, DVD, and an AM/FM/CD stereo with changer provides the background music for your time on the water.
There are five staterooms, each with double berth, drawer storage, hanging locker, and private head compartment. There are two staterooms in each hull, one forward and one aft. The fifth stateroom is in the center, accessed from the salon.
On deck we have a large cockpit with bimini top with full enclosure. The cockpit features a centerline helm with compass and tri-data displays. The cockpit is designed for relaxing, entertaining, and alfresco dining. There are two settees with teak tables and chairs. The Seafrost refrigerator and Raritan ice maker helps keep your guests refreshed and a Magma BBQ grill provides fresh grilled catch of the day. A stern-mounted dinghy davit allow easy launching and retrieval of the 14' Caribe dinghy with Yamaha outboard. Transom steps to either side provide easy access to swim platform with port side shower and boarding ladder. Forward we have a huge foredeck with two trampoline swim & sun decks with centerline anchor and windlass.
Sails and rigging includes: aluminum deck stepped spar, ProFurl deluxe roller furling gear on mainstay, Lewmar self-tailing winches, full-battened mainsail, roller furling genoa with spare, storm headsail, spinnaker with ATN dousing sock, and North Sails sail catcher for mainsail. Safety gear includes: Plastimo six-person life raft, eight PFDs, and nine fire extinguishers.
A 50-hp Yanmar diesel engines provide auxiliary power, two 16000-btu HAC units maintain interior comfort, a 12.5-kW generator supplies offshore electrical power, and an Echo-Tec 40-gph water maker provides fresh water.
