Believed to be designed by either K. Aage Nielsen, or one of his proteges, 'Fandango' is a lovely double-ended ketch that has been maintained to very high standards indeed! Based on the famous 'Colin Archer' boats and specifically designed for long-distance cruising, 'Fandango' is heavily built for just about any conditions you might encounter. How strong? Copper-fastened 1 5/8" African mahogany planks over steam-bent oak frames on 9" centers, and an extensive ten-year re-build during the '90's and significant systems upgrades since have made 'Fandango' not just 'as good as new,' but better than new!
