This is a big, heavy ketch with a rock solid fiberglass hull and beautiful classic lines. She has been the muse of many Nantucket artists, and paintings of her can be found in many galleries. She was built in Taipei and is therefore loaded with teak, complete with gorgeous carvings on her bulkhead doors. She has a custom mahogany cabinhouse. The result of all this wood is a warm feeling below decks. She has a custom liveaboard galley with large butcher block counter space, Force 10 stove/oven/galley, Kohler faucet in the sink, and set-up for refrigeration (but no refrigeration unit). The large head has a separate shower, and also a Sealand Vacuflush electric sanitation system with holding tank and elecric pump discharge overboard or deck pumpout.
The boat is an excellent liveaboard, but also a project. She has Sitka spruce masts that probably need some new wood. The cockpit deck needs to be replaced, and perhaps the whole deck. The aft bulkhead needs work. There is a piece of the rail that needs to be replaced. The engine runs but needs work. a handy person could double his money with this investment. I recently had her insured for $55,000. Asking $20,000.
