1983 POST Sport Fisherman, - The Post 46 Sport Fisherman is a legendary fishing machine with great styling, premium accommodations, and exceptional fishability. This is a two stateroom fisherman with flybridge, well equipped cockpit, roomy interior.The flybridge features hard top with full enclosure, outriggers, rocket launches, overhead electronics box, centerline helm station, custom captain's chairs, and guest seating forward. The helm features a full complement of electronics including: Furuno color sounder, Furuno 48-mile radar, Furuno GPS, Furuno Loran, Horizon digital depth finder, Raymarine auto pilot, and Icom VHF radio. The flybridge is large, enclosed, and well equipped.The big cockpit with varnished teak trim gives you more than enough workspace, and includes fighting chair with footrest and rocket launchers, outriggers, prep station with sink, live well, two tackle lockers, fish boxes, transom door, cockpit floodlights, and padded coaming. The foredeck includes bow pulpit with anchor and electric windlass.The interior is large, open, and comfortable. The salon has new carpet with new sleep sofa port side along with end table and rattan chair. To starboard are two new swivel rocker easy chairs, ottoman, custom teak wet bar with liquor cabinet and three bar stools with an overhead entertainment center. There's lots of room to relax after a day of fishing and discuss the ones that got away while enjoying a cold beverage. There's an ice maker that's easily accessible from salon or cockpit. Forward we have the full galley down with full size refrigerator, three-burner range with oven, microwave oven, coffee maker, storage, and a solid surface counter top with stainless steel sink.For overnight and extended fishing trips there are two staterooms, each with a full head compartment with shower. The master stateroom is forward with island queen berth, his & her hanging lockers, TV with VCR, and ensuite head compartment. The guest stateroom has upper & lower bunks and guest head with shower. Lots of room and excellent accommodations makes the fishing or cruising all the more enjoyable.Performance is provided by twin Detroit Diesel engines generating 450 horsepower each with a cruising speed of 21 knots and a top speed around 24 knots.
