 Steel Ferry-Work Boat,They don't come any cleaner.Built in 1977 in Boothbay Harbor Maine,she was hauled out in September of 2006,Bottom cleaned and painted,new zincs installed and anti-foul bottom paint was applied,and engine room recehtly painted.This vessel was recently surveyed in July,of 2006,and available for review. Replacement cost is over $ 1,200,000.Until this past year,this ferry operated as a USCG inspected ferry and certified to carry up to 98 passengers and up to 12 cars.Documentation was changed in 2006 to a commercial fishing vessel(used in aguaculture operations)but the vessel can easily be recertified as a passenger vessel Ferry has a heated Wheelhouse,with twin stations and a Crew Passengers Quaters.THe ferry has a prop on each end of the boat,so when it crosses a river,or lake,does not have to turn around,just use the opposite prop to return ,which is the reason for dual controls.
