1953/2007 45’ x 12.5’ x 6’ EX US Army ST Tug

Built in 1953 in Nassco, SanDiego

Molded depth: 7.2’

Shell plating thickness: ¼”

Headroom: Wheelhouse – 7’, cabin – 7’, engine room – 7’

Rebuilt from the keel up in 2007 and was converted from single to twin screw.

She is the only twin screw ST Tug that the owner knows of.

(2) Detroit Diesel 6-110 engines – 300 hp each, 470 & 4918 hours

(2) Allison transmissions 2:1 ratio

Shaft size: 2 ¼”

Cruising speed: 8 ½ kts

Propellers: RH &  LH,  30” x 28”, 3 blade, bronze

7 KW Kuboto generator – 110/220 V AC
