  • The owner estimates that most of the deteriorated planking is located abaft of midship and concentrated in the gunnel and stern timbers; above the main deck.
  • There are areas, all above the water line, where planking will need either replacing or filling depending on how the hull will be finished (i.e. left as wood or fiberglass/wood).
  • The deck planking in the area of the starboard, forward, abreast towing bit has minor damage (previous owner failed to allow sufficient scope during a hurricane).
  • There appears to be some minor deterioration in the eave areas around the deck house and the roof cover (canvas) over the wheel house is beginning to come undone.
  • Some of the exterior bright work and painted surfaces are due for cleaning and / or recoating.
  • The main batteries are in poor condition and the owner is willing to make an allowance in price for their replacement. (All DC equipment pumps, lights, nav. gear is 12volt ---the main engine starter is 24volt. This arrangement is accomplished by virtue of a transfer switch.
  • The shift mechanism may require adjustment or repair (during the owner's last visit on the boat he had problems getting FWD) The location of the problem has been pinpointed but he was unable to dedicate any time to work on the unit.
