Summary
During a recent boat appraisal the boat was inspected out of water. The hull, decks and house were tested with a sounding hammer in random 8" - 10" intervals. All structures and systems were visually inspected where accessible. The engine was not run.

The hull was built by North End Composites of Rockland, ME. The vessel was originally finished by Clark Island Boat Works of St. George, ME as an inspected passenger vessel. The vessel was converted to a lobster boat in 2002.

Construction Details
Molded, laminated fiberglass with a flared bow, round bilges, and a full keel. The hull from the waterline to the rail is cored, reportedly with foam coring. The hull is stiffened with two longitudinal stringers, molded ribs tying stringers to the hull, work deck, and wash rails, and two major bulkheads.

Deck and House Construction
Built in place, fiberglass over plywood and Airex cored panels. The deck is joined to the hull with fiberglass. The side decks are suppported with the molded ribs described below. There is a Wynne tip-out window at helm and port side. Aluminum framed safety glass windows, windows are tinted. The is one 4 x 6 halogen deck light. One wheelhouse light, red bulb.

The work deck is fiberglass over 3/4" plywood and 2 x 4 and 2 x 6 pressure treated beams. The beams are posted to the cut back bulkheads and stringers and bolted to a fiberglass hull flange. The surface is painted with non-skid and is pitched to two transom scuppers.

There are three Anchor Marine aluminum hatches with stainless frames, one Bomar hatch aluminum hatch and two plastic deck hatches. The hatches are located foward of engine box, starboard side of engine box, mid-ship for storage, and over lazerette.

Engine and Running Gear
The engine is hard mounted to welded steel grid bolted to the stringers and tabbed the hull. The engine is fresh water cooled with a raw water heat exchanger and 2 1/2" bronze seacock. Engine box: 89" L x 63" x 20 1/2" H

2 1/2" stainless steel shaft with an internal bronze packing gland. 4-blade propeller. Stainless steel rudder.

Wet exhaust.

Wheelhouse
Bronze spindled steering on starboard side. Hydro-slave power steering. Kobelt engine control and Morse control cables.

Pot Hauler
Hyrdo-Slave pot hauling system with 12" hauler, aluminum backing plate. Conventional heavy gauge stainless davit. Snatch block is a Hi-Lip #5 Superior. Stainless shives and steel shive liner material. Hauling station is built up with extra fiberglass on hull.

PTO driven pump with mechancial clutch, 12 gallon stell reservoir tank, and standard control valve.
