This is a certified passenger vessel (DOT) currently operating in Home trade IV. At present time the vessel is capable of handling 55 persons with a limit of 25 persons on the flybridge. A full stability booklet has been submitted (June 2001) to DOT for approval. Pending approval, the passenger compliment will be increased to 68 persons (subject to installation of fo's'cle deck railings).
Vessel was constructed in 1982 and rebuilt /refitted in 2000.
Vessel in in NEW condition
Hull is constructed of 1" x 3" oak framing on 12" centres with 1 1/4" pine plank bronze fastened and floors on 24" centres. Vessel's hull was sheathed with FRP Spring 2000. Deck structure and deck sheathing replaced c/w FRP, cabin deck structure and sheathing replaced, cabin interior replaced. New flybridge c/w bench seating installed (solid FRP). All underwater fittings are new.
Powered by 210 bhp Cummins Diesel (rebuilt 2000) approx 950 hrs, heat exchanger cooled, c/w new vibration isolation mounts, new water cooled exhaust (FRP pipe), new Rador water separator (fuel), and new raw water water strainer
