Novatec Yachts, made by Nova Marine Company, Ltd., are high-performance motor yachts. The fourth largest Taiwanese yacht manufacturer originated in 1983, and has its major exporting geared for the United States, but also includes Australia, Europe, Hong Kong, and Japan. The various lines of Novatec yachts cater to several interests: those seeking advanced technology yachts in a sundeck or sport cruiser model, a trawler, or a recreational vessel. Novatec yachts vary in size from near 40 feet to 82 feet in length. The Nova Marine shipyard complies with several countries’ yacht standards, such as the United States’ American Bureau of Shipping, Japan’s Nippon Kaiji, and the China Corporation Register of Shipping.
