Description

Classic downeast trawler by John Alden and Company. She was custom built for a dentist in MA in 1963. Her construction is cold molded double diagonal marine ply with fiberglass over. Full keel with skeg. In addition to this rugged layup, she is also framed internally with steam bent oak ribs on 8" centers. She was repowered in 1994 with a rebuilt Ford Lehman 100hp diesel and now has 1300 hours.

She was previously owned by the listing broker who cruised her with his family for 9 years. She has great sea keeping ability and is very efficient consuming only about 1.75 gals per hour.
