Review of the Brown Eyed Girl I sold this yacht from her 2nd owner to her current owner in Hampton Va., January 2006 for $285k which was a very good price if you compare comps for 2005-07. She was exceptionally nice then, and she's nice now. I throughly inspected her February 2nd 2011. I was happy to see she's still looking good. She has several improvements and upgrades. Her Gel-coat is shiny and exceptionally nice for a 2000 model. Her interior is very nice, smells good, is very clean. Nice custom white wooden blinds in the salon is a nice upgrade. Nice to see new bedding (for a change) on a 4788 instead of the original bedspreads! Engine room is very clean and tidy, again no odors. Note photos of all.  Her sole negative I found on the vessel was the white paint flaking on her exterior Aluminum (note detailed photos)which is minor corrosion. It's not unusual to find corrosion on the 2000- 2002 4788's but usually it's on the black window frames. This vessel didn't have window frame corrosion which is more labor intensive to repair. The black paint is faded and should be painted, but isn't in need of being repaired. The aluminum repair is quite simple. To have it all redone, properly acid washed, epoxied, and painted would be no more than $2,000.00 PROFESSIONALLY and that's a very high estimate. Other than this quite normal issue, the boat is very nice and I highly recommend her. Very rare to find a nice 4788 like this in Florida. I suspect that her northern provenance, regular waxing, and loving care is the reason why.
