Custom 47' Egg Harbor Sport Fisher
Vehicle Description
For Sale is my 47' Custom Egg Harbor Sport Fisher. I have owned the boat for 11 years and have completed many upgrades over the years.I started by removing the bridge and constructing a new totaly custom one complete with Carolina style Helm Pod, Kobelt Chain Drive Single Lever Controls, the Levers and Bezels are straight from Rybovitch and a Pompanette Captains Chair. I also extended the Mate Shade out 40" to create a nice shady condition in the cockpit. All windows have been removed and replaced with more modern style frameless ones.I also removed the port holes and engine vents and glassed them in to create a more modern, sleeker looking Hull. Removed the original Teak cockpit sole and all framing, replumbed tanks, installed new exhaust hose, all new wiring and bonding system, new Buck Algonquin Rudders and Rudder Ports, new Fuel Hoses, new Steering Cylinder, bracket and connecting link, Awl Griped everything, 2 new 2000 gph Rule bilge pumps next to rudders, reframed cockpit and installed new marine plywood decking and covered with 1808 Biaxial Matting and West System Resin. I also constructed a 60 gallon stand up Livewell with 1600 GPH Rule Tournament Punp in an Integral cabinet on the Salon Bulkhead. I then constructed an enourmous Fish box on the salon bulkhead that doubles as a bench seat for 3 big guys right under the extended Mate Shade. All work on the boat has been performed with West System Resins and Awl Grip Paint. The vent Hatches on the bow were removed and replaced with new Bowmar units.The entire front deck was recovered with 1808 matting and West System Resins, along with the gunwhales.In the last 2 years I have added a new Tower, new Hard Top, new Lee 37' Out Riggers, new Strata Glass Enclosure, new Electronics Package consisting of a Garmin 3210 Display with Bundle and Garmin Open Array Radar, GPS is also equiped with XM/WX Radio and Weather, Airmar 2kw Transducer, Fruno 1100 Fish Finder with 2 kw Airmar Transducer, The best Uniden VHF available including seprate wireless mic with full set of controls and 2 mile range. New very powerfull Jensen CD/Stereo mounted inside console and controlled with a wired remote that is permenetly mounted in the electronics cabinet.I also recently added a new Seatalk 5000 Plus Auto Pilot it is mounted and completly installed except the hoses need to be hooked to the auto pilot pump. On the bridge. The tower has a Garmin 2010 GPS mounted in a Nav Pod that swivels, very nice. In the Salon I have mounted an Icom 502 VHF, JVC stereo/CD with Blaupunkt speakers, sounds great and is very powerfull. I have also mounted a new Stevens Single Side Band radio and Installed over 100 sq ft of bronze screen above the head liner in the salon as a ground plane, the radio has not been hooked up yet as there is a lack of talent for those things in Marathon.The Salon is also newly redone to include
