The Fountain 38' Tournament Edition features Center Console, Cuddy Cabin, and Triple Mercury 225s. This your basic Fountain go-fast fisherman, a great looking boat, a full-featured boat, and a very fast boat. She has a big cockpit, lots of features, and a cuddy cabin. What more can you ask of your basic fisherman?
The first thing you will notice is the dark blue hull contrasted against the white deck, this is a great looking boat. Next, unless you checked them out first, are the triple 225 Mercury Optimax engines across the stern. What sense does it make to look if you can't perform? These Mercury 225s perform. Ok, you want to fish. This Fountain is equipped to fish with: Rupp Top Gun outriggers, 18 rod holders, 50-gallon live well, four in-deck fish boxes, bait prep station with sink and cutting board, leaning post tackle center, rod racks, rocket launchers, and fresh & raw water washdown. In order to fish you need to get there and back. In order to do that you need electronics like a Simrad CA-42 radar/plotter/depth finder with 12" display, Simrad auto pilot, and Simrad VHF radio. Other features include T-Top with overhead electronics box, helm seat/leaning post, forward console seat with under-seat cooler, and aft seating with under-seat live well. Fishing trips require a cabin with v-berth and enclosed head and this 38' Fountain has that covered.
This 38' Fountain is powered by three 2002 225-hp Mercury Optimax 2-stroke engines with less than 500 hours. They let you cruise at 50mph with a top speed of around 66 mph. This beauty has been stored indoors, has been factory-tech maintained, has the Blue Imron hull, is in great condition, and everything works.
