The Fountain 31 Tournament Edition is a semi-custom, high-performace, sportfisherman. This fast-action fishing machine can run with the big boys, or as the owner says "she runs like a scalded dog." She has a large open cockpit with fishing room fore and aft with all the amenities needed for successful fishing. She is powered by twin 225 horsepower Mercury engines to get you out and back quickly.
Saddle Up is equipped with a T-top over the center console with overhead electronics box, rocket launchers, and spot lights. The center console has double-wide helm seat/leaning post with rod holders. Electronics package includes: Garmin GPSMAP, Furuno Radar, Furuno GPS Navigator, compass, and Icom VHF radio. The large cockpit has the room fore and aft with wide walkways and is equipped for serious fishing with gunwale rod holders, 400-quart forward fish boxes, raw water wash-down, 50-gallon transom live well, anchor with large anchor locker. The forward raised fishing deck contain the cuddy cabin with v-berth, porta potti, and in-cabin rod storage. The aluminum tri-axle trailer with get you to the water and back and makes storing the boat a breeze.
Power is provided by Mercury 225-hp Optimax 2-stroke engines. The port engine has only 750 hours and runs great. The starboard engine needs some work.
