The Hatteras 52 Convertible is virtually identical to the earlier Hatteras 50 Convertible with the extra hull length going into a larger cockpit---a notable improvement. A popular design, just over 200 were built. She's constructed on a modified-V-bottom with a long keel below & balsa coring in the hull sides.

Two floorplans were availaable, a galley-down layout with two staterooms, & the more popular deckhouse galley arragement with three staterooms. This include two full-heads with separate stall showers.
Twin 720 hp. Detroits; large cockpit with molded-in tackle center; transom door with gate; direct engine room access; large flybridge with plenty of guest seating and a well-designed console; integral bow pulpit; much more!
Additional features include a large flybridge with plenty of guest seating & well designed console, side dumping exharsts, & wide sidedecks. A good sea boat, the Hatteras 52 will cruise around 23 knots with 720 hp 8V92s (about 25 kts top)
