If you are not familiar with the Hydra-Sport Vector Series, it is not your everyday fishing boat. The 2500 CC is tournament tested in some of the toughest conditions around. At 25 feet, you will be surprised at the room available to fish and work around the center console. There is plenty of stowage for gear and oversize fish holds are forward. The Kevlar reinforced hull will stand up to any punishment you can stomach. Bronze thru hulls are found below the water line and stainless steel above.
The self draining cockpit is equipped with oversize scuppers so you are not slogging through water when the action is hot. The cleats are all of the pop up variety to keep line fouling and finger jamming to a minimum. These are beefy 6 inch cleats with backing plates. The bow rail is recessed aluminum for a clean look all around. A 32 gallon Kodiak baitwell, with recirulating pump, is aft. Rod storage is found under both gunnels. A bait sink is located aft. The aft seat has a fold down bolster to keep the area clear for fighting fish. The helm is served by a double drop down seat. Forward of the center console is a built in cooler. Plenty of storage and a roomy head are below. The cockpit is bolstered all around and tackle stowage is built in. The deck is diamond print non shid and a transom door leads to the hidden swim ladder. Rod holders are placed around the gunnel.
Raymarine electronics are well placed for ease of sight and button pushing. The Yamahas are well monitored by the standard Yamaha gauges that keep track of all the vital info - speed, tach, voltage, fuel, trim and water pressure. The big screen on the Raymarine c120 multi function readout(charting and fishfinder) will be welcome in all weather and sea conditions. Raymarine is also the VHF supplier. Clarion is the stereo maufacturer and it is supported by a 200 watt Aquatic AV amp with 4 speakers. Lack of music should not be the reason for poor fishing. There are plenty of drink holders, 12V power connections and other touches on the helm to make for a pleasant chore when it is your turn to drive the boat. There is plenty of room for more electronics in the overhead electronics box. Five rocket launcher rod holders are on the T-top as well as Taco Grand Slam outriggers. A pair of spreader lights aft and one forward will make early and late fishing a little easier. An easy to see magnetic compass rounds out the nav gear.
To keep the Yahmahas trouble free, fuel water separators keep things running. Stainless steel props will get a little extra out of the power plants. Trim tabs will keep you running flat and at peak speed.
