This 50-foot motor yacht has recently been placed on the market after 25-years of ownership. This vessel was built in England and brought to the Med in the early 1960 s. She soon became one of the top charter vessels around the South of France and Monaco. In the 1970 s she was owned by a successful charter couple and operated in France, Spain and Italy. In 1974 she was sold and cruised around Spain and the Balearics. She was then purchased by her present owners - He a marine engineer and she, a yacht chef. These people are now retiring, but have maintained this yacht to the highest standards. This is the first yacht construction by Dagless, who built many wooden boats in the 1960 s through the 1980 s. This yacht is the only known double-diagonal cascover covered Fleur de Lys. This vessel was too expensive to replicate, therefore, she s a "One of a Kind". She s powered by Morris Commodore (BMC) diesel engines, 52-HP each, which are regularly serviced and will cruise at a speed of 8.5-Knots, with a top speed of around 9.5-Knots (1700-Mile cruising range) only burning a conservative 2.25-Litre s of fuel per hour.
