1997 MAXUM 4100 SCR, Location: Longboat Key, FL, US - The 4100 SCR is a stylish upscale, roomy and well-styled express cruiser built in the Maxum tradition for quality construction at an affordable price. Her reverse radar arch, integral bow pulpit and huge swim platform contribute to her sleek profile. The salon is entered down four pedestal steps from the helm. One is immediately struck by the cavernous interior and with the sweeping curved surfaces, rich Ultra leather settee and Corian counter tops and table. There is a JVC entertainment center with AM/FM/CD and a Panasonic VCR/TV.The C-shaped dinette with a beautiful tan Corian hi-low table is adjacent to the entry steps to starboard. The U-shaped convertible settee with hi/low table forms the guest cabin amidship under the helm. Adjacent to the dinette to port is a large head compartment with molded Corian topped vanity with mirror and a Vacu-flush head. Forward of the head is the fully equipped galley, which features a 3-burner stove, Norcold refrigerator, Panasonic microwave, SS sink and Corian counters. There is plenty of drawer, cabinet and counter space to store food and dishes. The master cabin is forward with walk-around queen berth, hanging lockers and plenty of counter space. She has a 12.5 Kw Westerbeke genset and A/C. The helm/cockpit area is large enough to entertain a crowed. There is a double companion set at the helm plus bench seating to port and in the cockpit. The cockpit also has a wet bar. Forward is a large sunpad. The helm has a full complement of cruising instruments including Furuno GPS chart plotter, Simrad auto pilot, Furuno FBX II radio beacon reciever, Horizan VHF and Danforth compass. The cockpit has a large U-shaped seating area with table to starboard and bench seating & wet bar to port. Power is provided by the highly desirable twin 330-hp Cummins diesel engines with only 250 hours. She still has three years of extended warranty left. The bottom is scheduled to be done shortly.
