| Interior |
| The lavishly appointed high gloss cherrywood interior is both elegant and very well laid-out for both fishing or cruising. The earthrtone fabrics, teak & holly flooring, top quality carpeting, detailed joinery work, and granite countertops throughout are in the greatest of taste. Her layout is unique to a 40'er, as this boat features a mid-ship master stateroom for two, with the forward V-berth area cleverly designed with over-under transverse bunks that will sleep three, that's right, three! Both staterooms feature generous storage in both lockers and drawers, with the master also including a flat screen TV. The head features hot/cold sink, Raritan Crown electric head, exhaust fan, vanity with storage, and a separate and roomy stall shower The salon is open and airy, with an L-shaped sofa aft to port and forward to starboard is the L-shaped dinette with Granite table top. Behind the dinette is the entertainment system consisting of a JVC 22" flat screen TV, a Sony DVD/VHS player, and a Sony stereo/surround sound receiver, all flush mounted. Aft to starboard in the salon you'll find the bar area including a 20 lb. per day icemaker and storage for booze bottles and glassware. Midway down to port is the fully equipped galley with excellent counterspace and above average storage, including a large below sole lazarette compartment. The galley amenities include Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer, a Sharp SS Carousel microwave oven, a two burner Princess cooktop, a and a hot/cold sink. |
| Exterior |
With clean and graceful lines, a well designed sportfishing cockpit, and easy to get about sidedecks, this offshore battlewagon is one serious contender in the convertible sportfishing market. The engine room is accessed from the cockpit, not by lifting the cabin floor like most competitors. The cockpit is clean and clutter free, with a transom live baitwell, a bait cutting station, a sink, and a freezer built-in for convenience. The transom door provides easy access to the water or to bring big fish onboard if you so desire. Fresh and satwater washdowns are also included. The highlight of the cockpit is the gorgeous mermaid/Triton window glass etching as shown in the photos. The artwork is creative, impeccably executed, and detailed beyond belief. A fighting chair/leaning post/cokpit table base is already mounted to the cockpit floor if you wish to add any of these items. Forward you'll find an anchor pulpit, anchor locker, an electric anchor windlass, and sturdy anodized aluminum bow rails. The flybridge is traditionally laid out with dual Release Marine ladder backed fighting chair helmsman seats aft of the oversized helm console (which, by the way, the elctroincs mounting section raises and lowers electrically to protect your valuable electronics from theft or the elements when not in use). A traditional bench seat forward adds seating for guests beneath the custom Blue Marlin 1/2 tower with fiberglass hardtop and an enclosure for bad weather. Other fishing features include Lee double spreader outriggers, spreader lights, flush-mounted gunwale rod holders, and rocket launchers for added storage when transporting extra gear. |
