| Description |
2001 MONTEREY 302 Cruiser, Location: Ruskin, FL, US - This is a very good-looking express cruiser design; the Monterey 302 is an affordably priced family cruiser with very attractive lines, and a practical accommodation plan. Like all current Monterey sport boats, she rides on a solid fiberglass, deep-V hull with good beam, and reverse chine?s to reduce spray. The 302?s mid-cabin interior differs from most others in her class in one important respect: Instead of being open to the saloon with just a curtain for privacy, the 302?s aft stateroom is fully enclosed with a solid bulkhead, and cabin door (privacy for both the people in the saloon, and the aft cabin ? very nice). Topside, there?s a double-wide companion seat with a reversible back-rest at the helm, a wet bar, a removable transom bench seat, and the optional extended swim platform with a ladder. The bow area of the boat is accessed from a walk-through windshield. Some of her additional features include a reverse arch, fully enclosed canvas, a full cockpit cover, a transom storage locker, foredeck sun pad, reverse cycle heat/air conditioning (10,000-BTU), good electronics, and a removable cockpit table (optional). ?Makin? Memories? is a good performer with her twin, Volvo 5.0-Liter, 250-hp stern-drive engines (only 185-hours & under fully-transferable warranty until 8/20/2007), as she?ll deliver a cruising speed of 25-knots, and reach a top speed of just under 40-knots. ?Makin? Memories? is a one owner boat, with transferable engine warranty that's ready for fun, family cruising or weekending, so please give us a call for more details or an appointment to view her. Exterior Accommodations As handsome as it is rugged, the 302 Cruiser boasts high performance even in strong seas. Comfortable seating abounds in the cockpit, complimented by a full wet bar. A large carry-on cooler is also close at hand. Her large double-helm seat offers plenty of room for comfort as you choose your course and oversee your full instrument panels. Just open the transom door, and you're on the molded-in, oversized swim platform with its recessed, telescopic, stainless steel boarding ladder, and ample transom storage compartment. Move forward through the convenient walk-through windshield, and you've even got a foredeck sun pad. Nothing is left-out on this vessel. Interior Accommodations Once inside, the creature comforts are everywhere. Direct and indirect lighting, plush carpeting, and luxurious color-coordinated fabrics combine to create a rich, comfortable ambience. There's a V-berth forward, and the mid-cabin dinette converts to a sleeping berth. You'll appreciate the fully enclosed head with its unique "shower seat", sink, shower, and vanity storage. The one-piece fiberglass galley is spacious, and includes a built-in coffee maker, drawer storage, 12-volt lighting, stove, AC/DC refrigerator, and a sink with a faucet. You'll love the mid-cabin double berth; it has adjacent changing space, and is concealed behin
