This single owner Rinker has had wonderful care. The topsides are professionally maintained and the interior is as new. The space is well utilized and storage is abundant. All the comforts of home in a 31 footer that appears much larger.
As you head below you are greeted with a roomy and comfortable salon. To port is a large sofa with adjustable, removeable dinette table. The cushy couch converts to a single berth. Forward is a queen berth with ample hatches and ports for a airy, roomy feel. A flat screen TV swivels from the stateroom to the galley. There is under berth storage and hanging lockers nearby.
As you look aft you see the 2nd stateroom tucked under the main deck. There are retractable curtains that partition you from the salon for privacy. The small opening belies the queen sized berth and ample storage within. Storage under this berth also with more hanging lockers. Access to bilge pump and ac pump are under after berth, but easily accessed. Owner has added purge valve on ac pump to ease filter cleaning. On the starboard side of the salon is the spacious galley with electric range, microwave, built in coffee pot, large basin and ample storage above and below the counter. A refrigerator/freezer is below the counter. The AC/DC distribution panel is located here also. A large head is adjacent to the galley. A full sized electric head, with added filters to avoid any smells, a stainless basin, shower and plenty of storage.
Boat is well equipped without being cluttered. The well laid out helm makes keeping an eye on the guages a snap. Add your areas chip and the Lowrance GPS chart plotter will get you there safely. A remote speaker makes VHF communications easy. When it is time to relax, the Sony stereo really cranks with speakers above and below. You can choose from CD, Radio or Satellite. Three controls are always in easy reach. Two televisions, one with built in DVD, are in the salon. Plenty of room to add radar or fishing electronics if you need them.
With seating for 8 to 10 comfortably, the full beam aft deck is an entertainers dream. The wet bar with ice maker, basin, hidden trash bin and Rinkers famous stow away blender will make entertaining a breeze. An added access door next to ice maker has added greatly to storage. The walk through windshield leads to a huge foredeck with plenty of room for sunning or relaxing. I was aboard on a cool morning and the full canvas enclosure made it very comfortable to sit and enjoy the scenery. There is a cockpit cover for use in warmer months. The large swim platform gives easy access to the dock or dinghy which is conveniently located on flip up davits. Lighting is well done with arch lights for dockside use and LED accent lights for underway safety at night. There is storage under every seat and the hydraulic lift makes engine servicing a breeze.
The 4 HP Merc outboard works well on the inflatable. Small enough to be safe for kids, powerful enough to move a couple of adults easily.
Good visibility from the helm, trim tabs and canvas in good condition makes this a pilots dream. Helm seat collapses to allow standing room at the helm. All systems are within easy reach as you cruise.
Less than 200 hours on these economical Volvos will keep you happy for years to come. Plenty of speed to get you out and back, with fuel to spare. Composite drives makes for less maintenance and headaches compared to aluminum drives. Engines were just serviced and all zincs replaced. The 5KW Koehler has always been serviced by the local Koehler dealer. A sound shield keeps things quiet at anchor. Engine space is clean and roomy enough to service thing easily

This is a ridiculous price for great boat. Shows as new, one owner, low hours. The owners obviously have a true fondness for the boat, it shows in the way they point out small things that drew them to the boat. I was impressed with how the lack of walk around made for such a large aft deck. The space well well used throughout. There was a level of comfort not always noticed on a boat of this size. Everything was well cared for. The only flaw I noticed was three missing snaps on the aft deck canvas. The windows were clear and seams and zippers were all in good shape.
The carpets and upholstery were clean and in great condition both topside and below. This would make a great boat for a family, the aft stateroom is a cozy place that kids will love. The wide body design is very kid friendly with no side decks to lure brave souls.
The 312 is also very much at home as an island for adults. The luxurious appointments make for entertaining or romance.
