She was built on a solid fiberglass, modified-V hull with relatively high freeboard, considerable bow flare, and 14 degree of deadrise at the transom. Below, her two-stateroom interior is arranged with the galley and dinette down, which results in a fairly spacious salon. The full-width aft cabin has a walkaround double berth, and V-berths are installed in the forward stateroom. Both heads in the Silverton 40 are fitted with shower stalls, and light oak interior woodwork.
