(LOCATION: Tampa FL) This 38' Wellcraft Scarab Sport is a top-of-the-line sportfisherman with rugged construction and twin Mercury Verado power. She has center console, a well equipped cockpit, and an air conditioned cabin.
We start at the helm with t-top, rocket launchers, spreader lights, and overhead electronics box. The helm is equipped with the stainless steel wheel, hydraulic steering, trim tab controls, Smartcraft gauges and controls, and compass. Electronics include Raymarine E series high performance multifunction display with radar, chart plotter, and fish finder, Raymarine ST6002 auto pilot, and Raymarine Ray 54 VHF radio. For seating there are twin helm seats with leaning post, foldaway cockpit seating, foldaway transom seat, forward console seat with under-seat cooler, and twin bow seats. The large center console has in-console head compartment with vanity and shower.
The open cockpit features flush-mount rod holders, under-gunwale rod storage, transom prep station with sink and livewell, tackle drawers, in-deck fish boxes, and even a flip-out butane stove. The transom door opens to a swim platform with boarding ladder and freshwater shower. Wide side walkways allow easy access forward. The bow features low profile bow rail, anchor locker, Maxwell windlass, anchor roller, and anchor. Matching the Fighting Lady Yellow hull there is a yellow dodger with side curtains provides weather protection when needed. Everything you need, and room to fish, the cockpit has it all.
The cabin features convertible v-berth with filler cushions and dining table, under-berth storage, and bulkhead storage shelves. A Clarion AM/FM/CD stereo has two cabin speakers, four cockpit speaker, and remote control at helm. The air conditioned interior has more than enough room for overnight fishing trips.
This Scarab Sport is powered by twin 275-hp Mercury Verado engines (w/ 120 hours) designed for long-lasting dependable performance with warranty remaining.
