The PowerBoat Guide had this to say:
Not to be confused with the original--and hugely popular--3200 St. Tropez, the 33 St. Tropez lasted only three years in production before being retired from the Wellcraft fleet in 1992. She was built on a solid fiberglass hull with moderate beam and a substantial 16 degrees of transom deadrise--the same proven hull used in the production of the first St. Tropez. There were two interior layouts used in the 33. The first, which was identical to the original 3200 St. Tropez, had an island double berth forward and berths for six. In 1991 the layout was revised to include a longer salon settee and an angled double berth forward. While both configurations are similar to the original St. Tropez interior, the elevated cabin top of the 33 adds some much-needed cabin headroom as well as additional freeboard. On deck, the single-level cockpit is arranged with a double helm seat, transom door, and L-shaped bench seating aft. Lacking sidedecks, a walk-through windshield provides access to the bow. Twin 260-hp inboard gas engines (with V-drives) will cruise the 33 St. Tropez at a respectable 20 knots and reach a top speed of just under 30 knots.
