In keeping with the best of of New England tradition and the major focus of Topsail Yachts, we present you with 'Ellida!' 'Ellida' is a classic schooner from every standpoint, and a stalwart of the Maine charter schooner fleet. Designed as a yacht by John Alden (design #138) to resemble the famous Grand Banks schooners, 'Ellida' was built by the Morse shipyard in Thomaston Maine, and is ready for new owners, for either continuing charter work, or conversion to a yacht. Solidly built and well laid-out, 'Ellida' has had a few minor modifications over the years, such as the conversion of the main mast from gaff to marconi/bermudan, but the basic layout and structure remains original. The interior is well-designed for charter guests, with three double staterooms aft, each with their own head and shower, plus an over and under cabin forward, a fourth head with shower, two berths in the fo'c'sle and a pilot berth over the salon settee for a total of five staterooms with guest berthing for eleven. Separate crews quarters for two are aft by the splendid Alden cockpit, and a well-organized galley ensures the crew and guests will be well-fed!
