| Description |
One of the most comfortable sailboats ever built. The Amel Maramu is well known to sailors worldwide. This boat has been renovated over the past 3 years. The hull was showing signs of light osmosis, so in 2002, it was hauled out and dried for 11 months. Hull then got anti osmosis treatment and the whole boat was repainted in 2003. Most of the equipment on board has been overhauled or replaced to new condition. A magnificent ocean cruiser, this Maramu will take you anywhere in great comfort. Her sail plan and furlers make it very easy to sail single-handed. One never has to leave the well protected center cockpit. The 6 HP electric bow thruster makes all port maneuvers easy. The present owner has sailed her single-handed in the Mediterranean over the past 3 years.
