Hull construction and layout
The hull is a rigid steel construction covered with 5.0mm steel plate. The construction has five main bulk-heads, which divide its interior into its individual sections. The hull has been completely insulated with foam, above and bellow the waterline. This specific design has a centre cockpit, which has many advantages over the aft. cockpit, especially with the interior layout. The interior is divided up into six main sections, with three sleeping cabins, comfortably sleeping 5 (two private double cabins) & two heads.
Interior design and layout:
The priorities of the interior layout are:
Comfortable and easy movement throughout.
Comfortable sleeping space and cabins,
Stowage: There is ample stowage throughout the yacht. Each cabin has its own stowage space. The galley also has ample and easily accessible stowage. There is also one main storage compartment with shelves and cupboards.
Galley:
The galley is very spacey and fully equipped and functional for long stays on the sea. The galley is equipped with:
Toaster: with 2 burners and oven,
Fridge: spacey; stays cool for very long time after turned off.
Electrical system:
Electrical supply: - 2 individual batteries (12V, 570AH capacity)
Charging: Engine; 2 X 75W solar panels; connector and cable for charging from the marina
Control: Central switchboard
There are two independent battery systems. Selecting between batteries 1 & 2 is dine on the switchboard. This allows servicing, replacement, charging, etc. of batteries to be done without interrupting the supply of electricity on the boat. Energy supplied via the solar panels is ample to keep the electrical system up and running and the batteries fully charged.
