| Description |
The ship is a classical beauty, built in 1951 by Burmeister in Bremerhaven, Germany as a representational Yacht for an UK-Based Bank.
Since then its life was eventful. She has been upgraded constantly, the one major upgrade was from single Engine to Double Engine. As she is able to go transatlantic on her won keel she has prowled the US-Coasts, the Caribbean, the Med and now the Red Sea.
Her classic lines set her apart from every other Yacht around her, she has not the sleek lines of a modern racer but the sturdy, reliable lines of a ship build for bad weather and high seas. Originally built for the Atlantic Ocean around Englands shores her high bow lets her handle waves very well.
The Salon is huge and offers not only a bar, but also comfortable couches and dinner table, able to seat 10-12 guests.
The kitchen, of course separated from the salon, is right next to it nonetheless and equipped with all the comforts of modern Kitchen, such as 4-fire ceran range, stove, microwave with grill and of course a huge freezer.
The ships highlight is the Wheelhouse. A raised Wheelhouse dominates the ships superstructure, giving a perfect view of the surroundings through the large windows, the bridge wings, and of course the closed circuit TV Camera for maneuvering in close quarters.
Bristling with all the below described navigational equipment, a huge Wheel and an impressive magnetic compass the Wheelhouse is the central commanding place of the Ship. It also offers access to the engine room, which is below the battery room that is below the Wheelhouse.
Behind the Wheelhouse is the perfectly situated outside table, the ships central meeting place for all kinds of eating, such as breakfast or dinner, as well comfy place to rest ones legs, read a book or watch the sea.
As it is under cover, neither sun nor rain can prevent the use of this perfect place.
Exactly below is the crew cabin, storage room and compressors, the ship features 2 compressors to allow a quick refill of the 16 steel scuba tanks she features as one of the highlights in her repertoire of leisure activities.
