A truly affordable classic, this boat has been in the same ownership for the last 25 years! Designed by the famous Scandinavian Knud Reimers, this is one of a long line of his very successful racing, cruising, and racing/cruising sailboats that have been copied or used as inspiration by everyone from Uffa Fox to Herreshoff at one time or another. Built in Copenhagen of larch on oak frames with a teak deck during the second world war, this yacht has been continuously maintained to extremely high standards (her deck was recaulked in 1994), and reflects the design thinking of the time for a fast cruiser of racing pedigree. |
