1906 41 Feet Classic Yacht Baltic Trader

A classic Baltic Trader design, 'Haabet' has all the comfort and salty style you might expect in a small ship of this vintage! With a ship's log going back continuously to 1910, 'Haabet' has undergone an extensive and intensive restoration lasting almost 40 years from 1966 to 2003 by her current owner, which cost more than EUR 350,000, not including the owners time, and the result has been worth the wait and the cost! Gaff-ketch rigged, with a comfortable pilothouse, modern electronics and even a feathering propeller, 'Haabet' is ready for another century of deep-water voyaging. For those of you not familiar with the Baltic Trader style, it is a design worked out over the centuries to deal with the often rough waters of the Baltic and North Seas. Used for delivering cargoes to small ports, the Baltic Traders have always been known for sea-worthiness and comfort for their crews. I have personally seen Baltic Trader yachts in the most unlikely of places around the world (the Grenadines, the Pacific Islands, etc.), and can attest to their long range and sea-going capabilities!
