| Description |
Another Danish classic, at an affordable price, with modern amenities and quite recent build 'Gefion' is a Baltic Trader, a well known and very seaworthy traditional design from Denmark. Originally used for coastal trading and cargo-carying, each Baltic Trader was also the home of its owners. As a result, Baltic Traders inevitably have a very comfortable aft cabin (wife and kids are crew as well as company!), and since the Baltic Traders no longer carry cargo, the rest of the spacious interior of this example is also converted to living area. The interior has been beautifuly done in mahogany, and the hull is larch on oak frames, with a teak deck and larch masts/spars. A new heating system has just been installed (2004) to keep you warm on thos cold nights!
