Rare find. One of the famous Kaiser Gale Force Cutters that has been exceptionally maintained by a knowledgeable owner. The superb condition of this boat must be seen to truly appreciate. Its excellent in rough weather and has a nice motion. She is well built and stout with four 2 inch cockpit drains plus teak grated in the cockpit. The hull - deck joint is very strong and the bulk works provide excellent support it you need to go up front on deck. Hood in furling system and everything leads back to the cockpit for your control. The hull is painted with dark green Awlgrip. The original teak decks are very thick and have been sanded down once. New Perkins Sabre engine installed in 2000. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for a serious buyer.
In July I Just replaced all new rigging, life lines. All the bright work was stripped and varnished in the cockpit and oiled every where else. New items: inline water filter, fuel tank and fuel separator cleaned, new vetus antisiphon valve. Edelweiss is in excellant shape to cruise. The new perkins sabre engine has 450 hrs on it and starts up immediately. It will have a new electric windless installed in September.
