 This 60’ catamaran is faster than a Gunboat, and has been completely redone over the last 9 months. More components are 2008 than are 1999, the year the original boat was built. My wife and I just spent $200,000, and nine months in Grenada and St. Maarten on a complete rebuild of this fantastic, fast Cat. We contracted with the best artisans to make FreeBirds a “very” fast live aboard to go around the world. But we fell in love with Bonaire along the way, bought a house, and offer this perfect boat to the right owner. FreeBirds is 4 tons lighter than a 62’ Gunboat, has narrower hulls, a rotating carbon fiber mast, and so many upgrades that my feeling is that it’s a better, faster boat at 1/4 the price.
