This newly varnished (9/2007) classic Ted Irwin designed Irwin 52’ has all new hatches, 2006 full enclosure with large windows, closed cell cockpit cushions, fresh varnished teak cockpit table, teak drink holders, new icemaker just serviced headsail, and newly serviced windlass and winches.
Inside the traditional three stateroom layout features two cabins forward, large master aft, u-shaped, walkthrough galley, two heads and spacious salon. There is new white paneling around ports in all cabins, rich teak cabinetry and trim, teak and holly sole, and abundance of storage and plenty of light and ventilation provided by 14 opening ports and eleven hatches.
There are two guest staterooms forward of the salon with the first cabin in the forepeak offering v-berth and filler with storage under, large hanging locker, drawer and locker storage and overhead hatch. The second guest cabin is midships to starboard featuring upper and lower bunks, two hanging lockers, opening port lights and additional storage in drawers and lockers. The guest head has a manual toilet, sink with storage under and mirror.
The comfortable living quarters of the salon have an L-shaped settee to starboard in the salon followed by breakfast bar, and u-shaped galley as you head aft. To port is an L-shaped convertible dinette (sleeps two) and large navigation station including top opening chart table, built-in electronics and stereo system. There is an abundance of storage throughout the salon and galley area including a pantry, lockers, storage under settees, shelves and in breezeway, dinette area that leads to master stateroom.
The large master stateroom aft has a queen berth, L-shaped dressing settee, aft bulkhead mirror, and overhead spotlights. There is an abundance of storage in drawers, two hanging closets, lockers and shelves. The ensuite head is to starboard including vanity with sink, manual head, and separate stall shower with tub.
