Owner comments: She is a very well kept and well-built boat and she sails really nice, comfortable, and fast. A perfect boat for long-distance cruising and/or for a person that wants to live aboard.
I purchased the boat in Greece 2000 from a private person that had used her for privately and for skippered charters in Greece. Since then she has been sailed by me to South America, in sweet waters in Argentina and Uruguay (north of Buenos Aires), and along the Brazilian coast.
She is equipped for long distance cruising and according to the ARC-rallys safety standards in 2000. The sails are from 2000 and in good condition. The genoa is from 2007. Wind instruments, eco-sounder and log are new 2006 as well as the dingy. In 2001 I changed to a new engine and she now carries a Yanmar 100 HP Turbo Diesel, which has 2200 hrs running time today. This engine was the high-end option for the Sun Odyssey 52.2 (basically the same hull). A strong and compact engine that makes the cruising speed at 8 knots.
Today she carries Panamanian flag that can easily be changed.
The reason I am selling her is that I have fulfilled my dream, which was sailing around for a few years and getting to know the South American countries and coastline.
